How much does it cost to register my dog?

The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets will no longer be issuing dog license renewals; this authority has been transferred to the Town of Rhinebeck as a local government function and below you will find the appropriate fee schedule. Please feel free to call the Town Clerk's Office with any questions. 845-876-3409.
The Dog Licensing Fees for the Town of Rhinebeck for the year 2011 and until further changed by the Town Board of the Town of Rhinebeck shall be as follows:
Neutered/Spayed Dog $10.00
Un-neutered/un-spayed Dog $18.00
Senior Owner
(65 and over proof required):
Neutered/Spayed Dog $ 5.00
Un-neutered/un-spayed Dog $10.00
Replacement tag $4.00
This fee is established in accordance with Local Law No. 4 of 2010 and shall be effective on January 1, 2011.
