WHO: International artists, local artists, musicians and authors.
WHAT:
A three days arts and culture "walk-about" showcasing local and
regional artists currently exhibiting their work in Rhinebeck plus
author readings, music, films and regional theater performances. There
is more to do in Rhinebeck than stop at the shops as shown by this
aggregate of interestingly unique exhibits of works by local artists.
One can see landscapes, abstracts, prints, watercolors, oils, ceramics,
photographs, and hand-crafted furniture within a two block area. The
majority of the "walk-about" and the Friday evening receptions occur on
Montgomery Street (otherwise known at Rt. 9) clustered around Upstate
Films located one block north of the Beekman Arms. Saturday's artist
talk is only a few footsteps away. All exhibits and readings are free
and open to the public.
