NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

Sealed bids to design, provide all required materials and install a roof mounted 46.0 kW-DC photovoltaic array system as set forth in an RFP are sought. Bids will be received by the Rhinebeck Town Clerk, 80 East Market Street, Rhinebeck, New York 12572, until 12:00 noon. on March 7, 2011. Bidders must be participating in NYSERDA's PV Incentive Program and certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).

 

An RFP may be mailed or picked up at the Rhinebeck Town Hall, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., on or after January 31, 2011, upon making a non-refundable payment of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each RFP obtained.

At 1:00PM, on February 16, 2011, bidders are required to attend a pre-bid walk through at the Town Highway Garage, located on 116 Rhinecliff Road. The Contract is to be awarded on Monday March 14, 2011 at 7:30 pm by the Town Board at their Board meeting.

 

Each bidder must include security in the amount of $14,053.00 in the form of a certified check or a bid bond subject to the conditions of this proposal and the signed Certification of Non-Collusion included in the RFP.

 

The Town of Rhinebeck expressly reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to accept any bid or to reject any and all bids or to award on any or all items as the interest of the Town may appear to require.

 

A bidder may not withdraw its bid for forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
