SOLAR PROJECTS OPERATIONAL - VIEW ENERGY SAVINGS

The Town of Rhinebeck is pleased to announce that it has completed the installation of solar panels at the Highway Garage and at the Transfer Station.  The solar panels are generating electricity for use at these facilities.  The Town received grants for 80% of the costs of these projects from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (“NYSERDA”).

In addition, there has been an interior lighting upgrade at the Town Hall and Highway Garage, sponsored by Central Hudson Gas & Electric.
