October 28th 2009 Budget workshop at 5:00

 

November 4th Election Day - polling sites at Town Hall, Rhinecliff Firehouse

and Methodist Church open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

 

November 6th 2009 Budget Public Hearing at 5:00

 

November 11th Veteran's Day - Town Hall and Highway garage closed

 

November 21st Middle-age Musician Night at Town Hall at 7 pm.

 

Planning Board is looking for new member

 

 

BUSINESS

 

  1. Accept DGEIS as adequate for public review.
  2. Set DGEIS Public Hearing for November 17th at 6:30 at Rhinebeck High School Auditorium
  3. Accept Erin Wahlberg's resignation from the Planning Board effective immediately.
  4. Hire Basketball Head Coach Erin Doyle at $100 per session, $1,200 maximum and Basketball Ass't Coaches Zachary Doyle, Karen Kirker and Evan Connelly at $7.35 per hour.
  5. Approve October 14, 2008 Town Board minutes
  6. Hire Kevin Espie as substitute MEO at $14.64 starting December 2 while Tony Capalbo is out on medical leave.
  7. Purchase mower deck for cemetery - Dan will submit 3 bids at meeting
  8. Sedore & Company proposal
  9. Procurement Policy update
  10. Approve CAC request to print 500 flyers for distribution with trees, cost not to exceed $500.
  11. Appoint Bob Fox to Planning Board, effective immediately and term to expire December 31, 2013.
  12. Appoint Sharon Sherrod to Planning Board, term to 12/01/2008 through 12/31/2011.
  13. Appoint Raphael Notin to C.A.C. effective immediately through 12/31/2009.
  14. Appoint Sheila Moloney to C.A.C. effective 12/01/2008-12/31/08.

1. Update/develop purchase order policy with input from staff

2. Determine if town should have

a. capital plan(both strategic and tactical)

b. inventory policy and procedures

c. information plan

d. internal controls policy and procedures

 

3. Finish drafting organizational policy for boards, committees, councils and departments.

4. finish job descriptions

5. Update employee handbook.
