Affordable Housing/Open Space, Aging, Finance and Control, Recreation and Quad Centennial, Web Rhinecliff Advisory Committees and Ethics Board are all looking for new members. Contact Town Clerk's office at 876-3409 for applications.

 

May 13th from 6-8 p.m. Recreation Sign ups at Town Hall,

 

May 12th 12-4, May 14th 8-12 noon, May 16th 8-12 noon Assessors Open Book

 

May 18th Vanderburgh Cove Informational Meeting at Town Hall, 6:45

 

May 25th Town Hall, Transfer Station and Highway department at off for

Memorial Day

 

May 26th - Grievance Day 9-12, 1-4, and 6-8-

 

May 26th Town Board meeting at Morton Memorial Library

 

May 19th Senior Game Day is being transferred to Northern Dutchess Hospital cafeteria from 1-3 every Tuesday

 

June 11th Internet Safety Forum to be held at Rhinebeck High School Auditorium at 7 pm

 

BUSINESS

 

1. 7:00 Public Hearing Continuation on Thompson Mazzarella Park.

2. Hire Robert Fitzpatrick as part time laborer at $11.00.

3. Hire Gary Allen Slater, Jr as part time laborer at cemetery at $?? For 6 months.

4. Appoint Ida Brier to Rhinecliff Advisory Committee, term to expire 12/10

5. Authorize Supervisor to sign 2010-2012 Urban County Consortium Ballot

6. Change June workshop meeting from June 22nd to June 29th.

7. Approve Speed trailer agreement

8. Approve Abstract 5

9. Approve budget transfers

10. Escrow Policy

11. Investment Policy

12. Hire summer recreation staff(rates/individual names to follow)

13. Modify revenue and appropriation for quad

14. Recreation Capital project budget transfer

15. Appoint Justin Cole to Finance/ Control Committee through 12/31/09

17. Set up public hearing for Building Moratorium extension

18. Set up public hearing for Building Permit Law

19. Purchase new compute for bookkeeping

 

Whereas the Finance office's server and work state were purchased in 2004, and

 

Whereas, it is recommended that the serves be replaced every 3-4 years and

 

Whereas, there are funds in Capital Project #39 Town Hall Equipment

 

Now, therefore be it resolved, that the Town Board of the Town of Rhinebeck authorize the purchase and set up of 2 computers not to exceed $4,200 to be paid from Capital Project #39, 55-01-1220-203 equipment line
