LOCAL LAW  2OF 2010

 

A LOCAL LAW OF THE TOWN OF RHINEBECK, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK REPEALING THE FIRST SENTENCE OF SECTION 17-18.B OF CHAPTER 17 OF THE TOWN CODE.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF RHINEBECK

AS FOLLOWS:

 

(HISTORY:  Adopted as Local Law 4 of the Town of Rhinebeck on 12/30/ 2008  Repealing former Section 17-18.B. adopted by Town Board 12/30/2008.

 

SECTION 1: REPEALER

The first sentence of Section 17-18.B. adopted by Town Board on 12/30/2008 is hereby repealed.  The second sentence of Section 17-18.B. remains the same.

 

SECTION 2: EFFECTIVE DATE

 

This Local Law shall become effective immediately upon the filing in the Office of the New York Secretary of State in accordance with applicable provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law

RE:     RESOLUTION INTRODUCING A LOCAL LAW BEING A

            LOCAL LAW OF THE TOWN OF RHINEBECK, DUTCHESS

            COUNTY, NEW YORK REPEALING THE FIRST SENTENCE OF SECTION 17.-18.B OF CHAPTER 17 OF THE TOWN CODE

 

WHEREAS, by this Resolution the Town Board introduces the proposed Local Law to be known as Local Law No. 2 of 2010, repealing the first sentence of Section 17.-18.B. of Chapter 17 of the Town Code providing that one member of the Ethics Board must an officer or employee of the Town of Rhinebeck. and; now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Town Board schedules a Public Hearing on the proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2010 for_________, 2010 at____ pm. and directs the Town to provide notice thereof, in the official newspaper of the Town and to post the Notice of Public Hearing accordingly.
