IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS
Mirones, Tony - Case #754 - Area variance application for fence height increase from 4 feet to 6 feet for property located at 262 Route 308, Rhinebeck, New York. The Public Hearing opened at 7:35 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Mirones were present and submitted letters, showing no opposition to the fence, from neighbors Joel Ritter, Evelyne Burns, Robin Kelley O'Connor and George Wyant. There were no neighboring property owners present. Mrs. Mirones stated their home has been on the market for some time and the realtor suggested a fence would give more appeal by blocking some of the road noise. Mr. Mirones stated there is another 6 foot fence just a few houses away that has been there for years. David said the Mirones' fence is only 14 feet from the road, and the distance from the fence to the house is approximately 120 feet, and asked Mr. Mirones if he knew the length of the property in front. Scott asked how long the fence was on the east side. Mr. Mirones stated he thought the east side of the fence was 75 feet, but was not really sure of any exact distances. Michael asked if it would be acceptable for the Board to visit the property to obtain some base measurements and Mr. and Mrs. Mirones said they were welcome to at any time. David advised the Board would be discussing this matter at the next meeting and they would be advised of the Resolution. The Public Hearing was closed at 7:40 p.m.
