Web Site Committee Seeks Two New Members

The Rhinebeck Website Committee seeks two new members.
Ideal candidates should possess qualifications in one or more of the following areas:
- Graphic design experience for the Web: PhotoShop skills, processing and manipulating images for use online, experience designing for CSS-templated Websites.
- Experience building or maintaining Websites developed using the Drupal content management system or other content management systems based on the php programming language.
- Digital communications experience: strong Web writing and editing experience, comfortable working with PDFs, email newsletters, online campaigns, contests, and surveys.
Candidates should also be comfortable working remotely using online collaboration tools. (The committee also meets once a month.)
In addition to maintaining the town Website, the committee recommends Web-based communication policy to the Town Board. Committee members are asked to help draft policies, research best practices, and evaluate ways the Website can keep town and village residents informed.
